Data Deletion Request

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This page explains how to ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, what we will delete, what we are required to keep, and how long it takes. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes the full set of rights available to you.

How to request deletion

Email care@myndr.shop with the subject line “Data deletion request”.

To help us find your records, please include:

  • Your full name.
  • The email address you used to order or to create your account — ideally, send the request from that address.
  • An order number, if you have placed an order.
  • Whether you also use the MYNDR Tracker app, and the email address on that account if it differs.

You can also write to us at Myndr, 2248 Broadway #1892, New York, NY 10024, United States, or call +1 438-927-4237.

Verifying who you are

Before we delete anything, we need to be reasonably sure the request is coming from you — deleting the wrong person’s records is itself a privacy failure. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the account, or to give us information that matches our records, such as an order number or order date.

We will never ask you for your password, and we will not ask for payment card details or more information than we need to identify you.

If an authorized agent is making the request for you, we will ask for proof that you have authorized them, and we may need to verify your identity with you directly.

How long it takes

  • We will acknowledge your request within 10 business days.
  • We will complete it within 45 calendar days. If we need longer — for example, if your request is complex — we may extend this by a further 45 days, and we will tell you why before we do.
  • If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, we will respond within one month, extendable by up to two further months for complex requests, with notice to you.

What we delete

On a verified request, we delete or de-identify the personal information we hold about you, including:

  • Your customer account and the contact details on it.
  • Your marketing contact record, so you stop receiving email and SMS from us.
  • Your customer support history with us.
  • Any product reviews you have submitted, and the name attached to them.
  • Your MYNDR Tracker app account and the symptom data logged in it, where you have one.
  • Behavioral and analytics data linked to you as an identifiable individual.

We also instruct the service providers who process personal information on our behalf — including our ecommerce platform, subscription, email, reviews and analytics providers — to delete it from their systems.

What we have to keep, and why

We cannot delete everything, and no honest business can. The law requires some records to be retained, and a deletion right does not override that. We keep:

  • Transaction and tax records — order, invoice and payment records, which we are required to retain for tax, accounting and audit purposes.
  • Records needed to complete something already in progress — an open order, an active subscription, a refund, or a dispute.
  • Fraud and security records, where retaining them is necessary to detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
  • A record of your deletion request itself, and a minimal suppression entry — usually a one-way hash of your email address. This exists so we can prove we honored your request and so you are not added back to our marketing lists later. It is the smallest amount of data that achieves that.

Where we keep information for one of these reasons, we restrict it to that purpose and delete it when the retention period ends.

What deletion means for you

Deletion is permanent and we cannot reverse it. Before you ask, it is worth knowing that:

  • Any active subscription will be cancelled.
  • Your order history goes, which can make a future warranty, refund or guarantee claim harder to process.
  • Your 60-day guarantee becomes difficult to claim, because we will no longer hold the order it attaches to. If you are within that window and thinking about a refund, claim it first, then ask us to delete your data.
  • Tracker app history cannot be recovered. If you want to keep your symptom log, ask us for a copy before you ask us to delete it — see portability below.

Deleting the MYNDR Tracker app account

If you use the MYNDR Tracker app, say so in your request and we will delete the app account and the symptom data held in it along with everything else. You can ask us to delete only the app account and keep your store account, or the other way round — just tell us which.

Other rights you may prefer

Deletion is not always what people actually want. Depending on where you live, you may instead have the right to:

  • Get a copy of your data (portability) — useful if you want your Tracker history before deleting it.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Stop marketing without deleting anything — use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information for targeted advertising — a separate right, which you can exercise on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Email care@myndr.shop for any of these.

Data held by Shopify

Our store runs on Shopify, which processes some information about your visit as a controller in its own right. For that data, Shopify responds to requests directly through the Shopify Privacy Portal. Deleting your data with us does not automatically cover it, so if you want it addressed, make a request there too.

If we decline

We may decline a request where the law permits it — for example, if we cannot verify your identity, or where a retention obligation above applies. If we do, we will tell you which exemption we are relying on.

You can appeal by replying to our decision and asking for it to be reviewed. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your local data protection authority; in the EEA, the list of supervisory authorities is here.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — your pricing, service and guarantee are unaffected.
